Finally! We are home!

We have been crazy busy this past week with the move and everything. We finally got our phone and internet connection hooked up again and we feel like the house is starting to be a little more "livable"! We had the hard wood floors refinished and we still can't believe the difference! At this point, we're just trying to get the house clean and organized. We can't buy all the furniture we need or the decorations that will make the house cozy and warm but at least we can clean it and refresh its faded look a bit! Our next project is to get rid of the ugly wallpaper from the 40's! That should help a lot! We are loving being in our OWN place. We totally emptied up our bank account but we are still loving it! :o) I'll post pictures of the progress we're doing soon.
Besides the move, I started teaching French 2 weeks ago and am in love with my new position. Teaching is what I was born to do. Classes are always over too soon ad there is so much that I want to do with the students. I'm even thinking about an end-of-year trip to Quebec to have the kids get a little more curious about the French culture. I'll probably have some friends or family come as guest speakers in my classes... anyway, I'm just full of ideas right now. I'm so thankful that the Lord provided this job for me. It was unexpected but it is a huge blessing! We are also in the process of buying a brand new shinny piano for the house. Lord willing, we will have it by the end of this week. We haven't had a piano in the house for so long so we can't wait (especially me because John gets to play everyday at work!)
The Lord is so good. We keep being amazed at his goodness and faithfulness.

House sounds great!Glad the teaching's working out. The kids must not have to take French or they wouldn't be as attentive.
Happy remodeling! Can't quite believe you'd let someone else refinish something!
